Media Matters: Part 6

Maybe, you’re like me and live in an innocent world where you were safe and protected - for the most part. The Bible does tell us to think on what is “good, pure, lovely, of good report” and this side of social media is not those things. However, the Bible calls us to be “wise as serpents, but gentle as doves”. That means God is asking us to be aware of issues like this so we can pray, help pass bills, and educate those around us on these issues.

New Music Review: Julie Elias - Dreamer

There was this time, during the 90s/early 2000s when it was the era of girl Christian singers. I remember the concerts, tours, and teen girl magazines. Rebecca St. James had her tours with her brothers Joel & Luke (now known as For King & Country) in the background. Natalie Grant was a household staple. Then, there was Britt Nicole - the new, young cool singer. Those days were some of my favorites.

Confession The Musical: A Movie Review

Three hours watching a low - budget live play with very little prop settings. First off, I do have to say it is a movie about Amish people, so would you expect a lot of props & make - up for example? I know this review started off with preparation for a “that was horrible & this was the worst”. For me though, I surprised myself and watched the whole thing and found myself enjoying it. Many times we look for the whole fireworks - flashing lights, bright sets, and when watching a movie - changing scenery.
