10 Bible Verses On Trusting God

10 Bible Verses On Trusting God.png

I sat in the room, with only one other person. He told me about an opportunity I had never heard of. I never imagined this opportunity would ever be offered to me. I did not even know the thought existed, before taking those few steps into his quaint, quiet office. As my hands became sweaty and my mind became numb, he explained this choice to me and encouraged me. I was faced with a difficult decision. Do I take the opportunity? Or do I stay where I am, and on the plan I had set for myself?

Recently, I have been learning to trust God, in the big, little, and in-between situations. “If any of you need wisdom, ask God for it. He will give it to you. God gives freely to everyone. He does not find fault, James 1:5.” Read the ten verses that have helped me to trust God more in every season, with every decision I make.

  1. Trust in the lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. -Proverbs 3:4-5

  2. The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know you name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. -Psalm 9:9-10

  3. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. -Hebrews 4:16

  4. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. -Psalm 28:7

  5. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. - Psalm 37:4-5

  6. But as for me, I will look unto Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. -Micah 7:7

  7. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. -Isaiah 12:2

  8. The person who rests in the shadow of the most high god will be kept safe by the Mighty One.-Psalm 91:1

  9. And again, I will put my trust in him. -Hebrews 2:10

  10. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble. -Proverbs 16:3-4

I pray that these verses are an encouragement to you today, friends. “I will not worry, I will be just fine. I will brave this new season, one day at a time,” said Morgan Harper Nichols. You are brave, you are courageous, you are confident, and you are loved.
