Tirzah's Stance on AI and Other Technological Aids

In recent years, there has been a rise of use in things like Artificial Intelligence, ChatGPT, and more. These things are amazing. They are tools that can help build both businesses and brands. However, they should not take the place of creativity and human relationships.

An article from the New York Post discussed a woman marrying an AI husband. In some countries, there are people marrying robots. The Bible has clear things to say about this being wrong. We were created for real life, human interaction. It is important that every interaction we have online is pointing to a real Jesus, real people, and real community. Sometimes technology can get in the way of that.

There are times that AI or ChatGPT can help us solve. It’s really cool when you’re researching for a work project or school and can type into AI to help get all the best answers. This is a great aid and use of these technological aids.

On the flip side, there are many dangers in the dark web on AI. There are horrible stories that I will not detail involving both teens and children. People are using technology to create inappropriate and explicit images utilizing the faces of minors and others without their consent. Tirzah does not endorse political candidates, but does talk about good policies. Melania Trump was instrumental in passing a bill that prohibits images like this.

The reality is everything that is made can be used for good or for evil. It is up to us how we use it. Personally, I can’t stand AI generated ads because they all look similar and take away the gifts and talents of truly creative people to design. That’s why you will find that here at Tirzah we are committed to utilizing real life people to create brands, stories, socials, and articles. You are getting real images - branding colors that have been designed and double checked by at least four different women.

When you read an article, young women can use technology edits to help edit or inform an article (Shout out to Grammarly for great editing tools). I’ve loved utilizing them to help aid in appropriate edits. However, all content from our women has been written by women and edited by real - life women as well. It’s been a commitment from the beginning.

If you go on our social media, you will find that all of our stories, reels, posts, and branding are daily content posted by real life women (and, sometimes, men). We want people to know that we are imperfect, flawed, and make mistakes.

Technological aids are great when used to be that - aids. It becomes a problem when we elevate them above humans. There’s a problem when people are talking to chatGPT instead of humans at night. I’d argue that it becomes a problem, in general, if you are never talking to people in real life. Consider how you can use technology to build relationships. Don’t see AI as an enemy - but don’t let it take place of the creative process or creativity.
