A House Blessing

A house - a place where one lives, a building for human habitation.

“A blessing starts at home, goes out into the church, community, to friends, family and to enemies as well.”

Tina Boesch in The Lost Art of Blessing.

When our adult sons moved into their own homes, I looked through the Bible for verses to pray over them. These Scriptures have blessed me as I prayed for them and for our own home, I hope it blesses you as well.

I pray, Lord, that everyone who passes by this house or apartment will be encouraged by the window displays, the flower pots on the porch and the music playing inside.

“Every house is built for a season but God is the builder of everything.”
