2017 Tirzah Day of Prayer
Here in the Tirzah community, we are firm believers that daily Bible study and prayer are the two main tools every young woman needs to live a set apart life in the modern world.
But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. -Matthew 6:6
That's why we are incredibly excited to announce the first annual Tirzah Day of Prayer: a 24-hour chain of prayer for the Tirzah community.
God has brought young women from all over the world to this small corner of the world and we'd love to come together for one day of prayer (sign up here!).

We pray that the Lord would open His Word to you and fill your mind with wisdom as you live out your days in this world.

We pray that He will guard your thoughts, eyes, ears and your life from sin and from the shiny temptations and empty promises of this world. We pray that your life will be filled with the fruit of the Spirit and that your light may shine brightly wherever you go. So that you may live set apart in this modern world. We pray you may boldly step into your calling and always walk in Him. We pray that the Lord would use this community as a tool and platform for His glory and that many lives will would be transformed by the words published here.
Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. -Matthew 18:19-20
Because we believe that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is there. So, we invite you to join us from all over the world - across time zones and oceans - to come before the throne of our God for every young woman who is a member of this community.
We have 15 minutes slots available (although we encourage you to sign up for longer time slots!) and we hope to be able to cover a full 24 hour day with young women from all over the world. We also have a sign up sheet for prayer needs if you have something specific you'd like your sisters to pray for.
In preparation for the Tirzah Day of Prayer, we'll have two live Bible studies in our Tirzah Academy Facebook group:
- Monday, September 18 at 7:30 CST with Chanel Caulfield Riggle
- Tuesday, September 26 at 7:30 CST with Yelena Bosovik
We will have Facebook event invites set up for each of these events and to be notified, just request to join our Tirzah Academy Facebook group. If you can't join one of the studies live, they will be available for replay in the Facebook group.
