To the Woman Who Gleans the Field Pt.1

Dear woman in the field,

I know there are days you wake up wishing things were different.

I know there are days you feel like giving up.

I know there are days you lie wide awake with mountains of stress and anxiety looming over you.

I know there are days you cry in the nooks of your homes, cars, workspaces, public bathrooms, and any place you can find to release the heaviness in your hearts.

But, I write to you to remind you that your God hears your cries and prayers – He sees you in these intimate moments and is with you.

“In my distress I called upon the Lord,

And cried out to my God;

He heard my voice from His temple,

And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.”

Psalm 18:6 NKJV

“I cried to Him with my mouth,

And He was [a]extolled with my tongue.

If I regard iniquity in my heart,

The Lord will not hear.

But certainly God has heard me;

He has attended to the voice of my prayer.

Blessed be God,

Who has not turned away my prayer,

Nor His mercy from me!”

Psalm 66: 17-20 NJKV

Have confidence in Him that He will provide and fulfill your needs.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”

1 John 5:14-15 NKJV

“according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him. Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.”

Ephesians 3:11-13

“Wait on the Lord;

Be of good courage,

And He shall strengthen your heart;

Wait, I say, on the Lord!”

Psalm 27:14

He sees the hard work you do with your hands. He sees you pour your heart and soul into the daily tasks of your days. He watches you glean the field and work yourself tirelessly to reap what God has sowed in your life.

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

Galatians 6:9

”My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces [a]patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be [b]perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

James 1:2-4

Remain steadfast and diligent in your work for God will bring you out of your troubles. Continue to be a stewardess and have joy during your trials because it is not meaningless.

“knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for[a] you serve the Lord Christ.”

Colossians 3:24

God sees you, woman in the field.

With love,

Your sister in Christ
