Praying through June

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye

shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh

findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

- Matthew 7:7 - 8

In preparation of our July Tirzah in the Word, I wanted to challenge us to focus on a couple of topics to pray over this week. As you know, I, Alycia, highly enjoy our times of prayer and fasting as a global community. I have seen so many answered prayers over the years and so have many of you women from all over!

This week will be an abundance of blessings in articles. As I pieced together a week of articles - a theme emerged that leads perfectly into father’s day. You will read about a woman who celebrated a father’s well loved life, a woman growing in faith as she awaits a future spouse, the raising of a young woman from the dead because of a father, and the marriage that shaped an amazing woman’s life. We will do many things in life as women and embrace them all. At Tirzah, we love every season and teaching about each on this journey.

Anyone who knows me, Alycia, knows my heart will always be strengthening women in Jesus and family. Everything else remains secondary. Our jobs will end, houses will fall, and stages will cease. The things we as women do for those around us could last for eternity. My hope for each of us is that when we reach our final destination, we will be surrounded by people who were well loved by us and made it to Heaven with us. In honor of Father’s Day and a desire to see strong women and families, I ask you to join me in the following prayers this week:

  1. Pray for more women and men to find Jesus.

  2. Pray that we can be a part of a new generation seeking God’s face.

  3. Pray for a generation of women rooted in God’s truth, fruitful in good works, and faithful in all things.

  4. Pray for a generation of marriages rooted in God’s truth, fruitful in good works, and faithful in all things.

  5. Pray for a generation of men passionate about Jesus, family, and fatherhood.

  6. Pray for the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the end of the month.

We are the next generation. Never settle for less than God’s best and pray that He will show you His will. COMMENT BELOW WITH YOUR PRAYER REQUEST FOR THE WEEK.
