Elizabeth Atkinson studied Information Systems at Strayer University. She works for the West Virginia Water Development Authority as the help desk supervisor for their software system. It is counted as a blessing to be able to use her education and experience in serving such a positive influence as Tirzah. Above all, she has a deep desire to be the woman God wants her to be. Raised in the hills of West Virginia, she believes that a forested mountain is the most beautiful of all cathedrals and that love and family are the most precious gifts. In her spare time, she can be found adventuring with her husband on their motorcycle or pretty much anywhere outdoors. She has a love of music and singing, having been raised by a musical bluegrass family. She loves the mountains (thanks to her home state), coffee (thanks to her dad), reading (thanks to her mama), and boiled crawfish (thanks to her hubby). Some of her favorite authors include Charles Dickens, C.S.Lewis, Francis Chan, Francine Rivers, Grace Richmond and Max Lucado. She currently lives in the rice fields of Louisiana with her husband and two dogs.

In her spare time Allison enjoys the simple things like reading and knitting, but if there happens to be a lot of extra time she loves traveling to any place that is new to her and her husband. Allison assists with the children’s and student ministries at her church and is blessed to be able to contribute to the ministry provided by Tirzah Magazine.

Currently, she is being called to the classroom where she gets to share God’s love and grace with her 8th graders. When she isn’t grading papers; she loves to drink Chai Tea, be a Foodie, play Just Dance, and take naps. She strongly believes that our voices as young Women of God are powerful.
